VHS and WC volleyball teams picked up district wins on Tuesday

Warren Central and Vicksburg High School both won district volleyball games on Tuesday night.

Vicksburg vs.Columbus:

VHS took down Columbus in four sets last night (25-18, 25-27,25-20, 25-14). Jordan Grace, Jamia Grace and Amari “Buggy” Johnson all served well. Jamia and Jordan both had 15 serves, a combined 17 assists and seven digs. Johnson served the ball 12 times with nine digs, seven saves and seven assists. The Missy Gators will host Ridgeland on Tuesday.

JV:

(25-13,25-13). Jamiya Stewart, Teagan
Stewart and Dallas West hit and
served the ball well.

Warren Central vs. Callaway:

The Lady Vikes knocked off Callaway in three sets(25-14,25-20,25-12).

Melissa Herrle had one kill, two aces and eight digs. Kennadi McKay brought in one kill and six digs while Elle Henderson finished with
two kills, two aces, four digs and one block.

KK Kelly contributed to the win with four kills, one ace and one dig while Calise Henyard  brought in four kills, 10 aces and six digs.
