Vicksburg High School basketball team defeated Pearl 49-44 on Saturday.

Malik Franklin led the Gators with 24 points followed by Davian Williams who added 14 points. Markel Derby also put up five points on the day.

VHS is now 3-0 under Head Coach Kelvin Carter.
