Vicksburg High School football team took down Natchez 22-6 in a scrimmage on Friday night.

Offensively, the Gators used their strong run game to takeover the match where multiple running backs picked up positive yards. They capitalized off runs from DeCorey Knight Jr, Johnny Smith, and Malik Montgomery who all scored touchdowns for VHS.

Defensively, VHS came to play as JD Kelly shut things down in the secondary along with Jaleel Fleming who caught an interception. All four defensive lineman Caleb Bryant, Demarcus Johnson, Tyler Carter, and Kellen Washington all controlled the defense by making big stops in the backfield including a sack by Bryant.
