VHS football players Montgomery and Regan sign football scholarships

Two Vicksburg High School football players, Michael Montgomery and Shakori Regan, both signed football scholarships to play on the collegiate level Wednesday morning at their school.
Offensive/Defensive lineman Michael Montgomery picked Pearl River Community College as his next destination to play football. He ended his senior year at VHS with 40 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles.
Running back Shakori Regan went on to happily sign with Holmes Community College after a successful senior year. He was the only player in the city of Vicksburg to rush for over 1,000 yards in 2020 after playing quarterback in 2019.
Both young men played a big role in VHS’s success over their varsity years and Vicksburg Daily News will follow them through their collegiate careers and provide future updates.
