After advancing to the second round of the playoffs in 2021, VHS players have been offered a numerous amount scholarships from big schools which is something that hasn’t happened in recent years. From Virginia Tech to the University of Texas to LSU, college scouts have had their eyes on the Gators as they continue to successfully build their program.

“Our guys are really getting some interest from some of the biggest programs out there and we’re just now getting started but we’re also going to continue to push academics just in case football doesn’t work out so that these young will have something to fall back on,” McDaniel said.

Caleb Bryant is the Gators’ top recruit as of now with nearly 20 scholarship offers. Jaleel Fleming and JD Kelly are also the next two athletes that are pulling in several offers.

These universities are seen on a weekly bases watching full practices at VHS, searching for the next big athlete to add to their roster.
