VHS Gators stay alive in basketball tournament with a 60-47 win over Graves County

The Vicksburg High men’s basketball team played against Graves County High School from Kentucky last night to take home another victory.

The Gators won the game 60-43 for their second victory in the Innisfree Hotels Pensacola Beach Tournament in Pensacola, Fla.

Cameron Butler led the way for the Gators with 16 points, three assists, and four rebounds. Jaden Williams led the Gators in rebounds with nine on the night along with scoring eight points. Taylon Smith also had another big night by putting up 11 points to help secure the win.

The win gives the Gators a 10-5 record as they prepare to play Bishop McNicholas High School from Cincinnati, Ohio, tomorrow at 3 p.m.
