VHS girl’s track team shined in last week’s meet
Vicksburg High School girl’s track team did a outstanding job at their district tack meet last week where multiple runners placed in the top three of their events.
Listed below are the runners who excelled at the at the meet:
- Kei’Mya Walton- fourth place in 100 M dash and third place in triple jump.
- Shaniya Walker-2nd place 400 M dash and 3rd place in 200 M dash.
- Gabby Oliver- 4th place in 200 M dash
- Terri Boyd- 3rd place 400 M dash
- Kadajia Allen- 1st place in 800 M run
- Kalia Bland-1st place 100 M hurdles and 1st place in 300 M hurdles
- Layla Carter-2nd place in 100 M hurdles.
- Rodrianna Hall- 4th place in 300 M hurdles, 3rd place in high jump, and 4th place in long jump
- Ashley Naylor-fourth place in triple jump
- Jalisa Tyler-2nd place in shot put
