VHS grabs two wins over Callaway

Vicksburg High School pulled off two wins against Callaway on Thursday night.

Game one:

Ten runs in the second inning helped VHS secure a 10-0 victory.

The Gators quickly got on the board after passed ball. Mincer Miner IV got a RBI to push the lead to 3-0.

A double by Terrance Johnson and a 400 feet home run by Tyler Carter helped VHS continue to put the game out of reach as they easily took the win.

Chris Green went 2 for 2 at the plate with two run scores.  Rashad McCroy, Carter, Decedric Brown, Braylon Green, and Johnson each got a hit.

Connor Harrigill allowed no hits in the win as he struck out two.

Game two:

VHS got a 19-0 win with Kealon Bass and Carter both getting three hits. Carter got three RBIs and Bass hit four.

Green and Harrigill both got a hit while Brown and Johnson both struckout three batters and allowed no hits.
