VHS knocked off Jim Hill 12-0 on Friday

Vicksburg High School baseball team celebrated Senior Night with a 12-0 shutout over Jim Hill.

The Gators quickly grabbed four run scores, mostly from Jim Hill errors, in the first inning to take the lead.

VHS came out swinging hard in the second as Chris Green tripled with three Gators making it to home plate.

Line drives by Terrance Johnson and Rashad McCroy in the third helped advanced the Gators’ lead to 11-0 heading into the fourth inning.

VHS never let up on Jim Hill and easily took the 12-0 win.

Chris Green dominated on the mound as he struck out five and only allowed one hit.

Green also led with one hit and three RBIs while Johnson, Kealon Bass, Connor Harrigill, McCroy, Decedric Brown and Will Evans all had one hit.
