VHS safety Marvin Martin Jr. is ranked No. 8 in 2021 class

Vicksburg High School safety Marvin Martin Jr. is ranked the No. 8 player in Mississippi of the 2021 class by Rivals.com.
Martin had a breakout season last year on the Gators defense where he had 80 tackles, six sacks, seven pass breakups, and five forced fumbles. He is known for his ability to get to the ball carrier and also to shutdown the wide receivers he went up against.
Over the past couple of seasons, Martin has become a great asset to the Gators defense, and he plans to have an even bigger season next year.
Martin’s speed and coverage ability has caught the attention of a few universities, and some have already made him scholarship offers, including Arkansas State, the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of Louisiana Monroe.
If Martin’s performance keeps getting better, he will definitely have more offers rolling in during his senior season.
