VHS season ends and WC takes a loss to Tupelo

Vicksburg High School Gators, coached by Antonio Calvin and Warren Central High School, coached by Randy Broome, both took playoff losses tonight against Tupelo and Center Hill.

Terrance Johnson was on the mound for VHS as he struck out three batters. Michael Johnson led the team in batting as he went 2 for 3 with one RBI.

The Gators’ season came to an end in a 11-3 loss to Center Hill.  They finished their season with a 9-12 record.

 

Warren Central lost to Tupelo 13-1 in the first game of the series.

Seth Sterling and Jack Wright were on the mound for WC and combined for four strikeouts.

The Vikings had a tough time hitting the ball tonight, forcing a tough loss.

A rematch between the two teams will be held tomorrow at Warren Central at 6 p.m.
