VHS varsity basketball team goes 9-2 at Co-Lin basketball camp

Vicksburg High School boy’s basketball team went 9-2 at a basketball camp this week that was held at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
The Gators are led by head coach Kelvin Carter who now has mostly sophomores on his roster after losing multiple players to graduation last year.
Kameron Brown led VHS in scoring during those games while also playing an effective role on defense where he was in charge of checking the best players. Davion Williams, Malik Franklin, Tyler Carter, and Chris Green also were superior in the Gators success as they all contributed major points that brought VHS nine victories.
VHS will now head to Dexter, Missouri tomorrow to continue playing summer basketball to enhance their success.
