VHS whoops Provine 14-0 on Thursday

Vicksburg High School defeated Provine for the second time this week on Thursday in a 14-0 victory.

After two scores, Decedric Brown singled on a ground ball to push the lead to 3-0. The Gators eventually got two more steals as they finished the first inning with a 5-0 lead.

VHS came out in the second inning strong as Rashad McCroy doubled that brought in two scores.

Mincer Minor IV, Terrance Johnson, and Kealon Bass all had big hits in the third inning that resulted in scores.

VHS got nine hits on the night with Decedric Brown going 3 for 3 on the night with one RBI. McCroy and Johnson both got two hits while Bass, Minor, and Braylon Green each got one hit.

Connor Harrigill only allowed one hit on the night while striking out six.

The Gators now improved their record to 12-6 under bead coach Antonio Calvin.
