Vicksburg and Warren County authorities arrest man on kidnapping charge

Vicksburg Police officers and Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jerome Turner on Thursday, April 23, on kidnapping and domestic violence charges.

Turner, 33, is accused of kidnapping a woman from a Vicksburg residence. The victim received minor injuries in the incident.

Police charged Turner with one count of kidnapping by force and one count of felony domestic violence.

He appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, April 24, where Judge Penny Lawson set his bond at $250,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
