Vicksburg business owner Dontae Jefferson looking to bless 11 less fortunate families with a Thanksgiving Day meal

Vicksburg business owner Dontae Jefferson is looking for 11 less fortunate families to bless with a Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Jefferson, who is the owner of the Turkey Leg Shack, will provide a full course meal to the 11 families which will consist of ham or turkey, dressing, green beans, potato salad and a dessert.

“It’s a good way for me to give back to the community during the holidays,” Jefferson said.

The meals will be first come first served and individuals who wish to be selected can inbox the Turkey Leg Shack on Facebook, stop by the restaurant or call 601-218-1210.

The deadline to call or sign up will be on Nov. 19.
