VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–A lifetime film crew visited the B.B. Club on Tuesday to film a segment for an upcoming movie.

The movie, “My Stolen Life” (working title) is being directed by Dylan Vox and will premiere within five to six months.

The B.B. Club will not be the only location to be filmed. Crews are expected to roll cameras at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center at some point during their two-week filming in the River City.

Film Producer Liana Rae Perez spoke with Vicksburg Daily News and told us a bit about the feature. The film follows a traumatic event of two individuals which leaves one in a mental hospital while the other becomes a writer. In a plot twist, things wind up not being what they appear.

When asked why the crew chose Vicksburg, Perez stated, “It’s just beautiful. We like to come to small towns and give back to the town.”

Those involved with the project have complimented the city on its hospitality and atmosphere. Plans to return for future projects are on the table.
