Vicksburg High Gators football team clinches a playoff spot
The Vicksburg High School football team has clinched a playoff spot.
The 2020 season will be the Gators first time in the playoffs since 2017 when they played under former head coach Lorenzo Breland. This season, the Gators have a 3-6 record under head coach Todd McDaniels who has been leading the team all year.
It is unclear who will be the Gators’ opponent in the playoffs, but they will first focus on defeating the Holmes County Central Jaguars Friday in their regular season finale.
The Gators have plenty of momentum going into tonight’s game as they are coming off a 36-20 win against Canton High School two weeks ago.
Tonight’s game will be at Holmes County Central High School. The Jaguars are coached by former VHS head coach Marcus Rogers.
