Vicksburg High School evacuated after fire alarm

Shortly after 8 a.m. a fire was reported at Vicksburg High School. Initial arriving units reported seeing light smoke within the building.

Students at the school were evacuated outside the building to safety. Numerous firefighter unites arrived on the scene to determine if there was a fire threat in the building.

Within half an hour, firefighters gave the all-clear for students to return to classes. The source of the smoke reported is unknown at this time.
