Vicksburg High’s ninth grade boys crush Brandon 71-52

The Vicksburg High School ninth-grade boys basketball team crushed Brandon in a 71-52 win to advance to the next round of the Little Six Tournament.

Kealon Bass led the Gators with 22 points on the night. Twelve of his 22 points came from the 3-point line as Brandon failed to stop the freshman phenom.

Tyler Henderson also had a great night by adding 14 points to the victory as the Gators demolished the Bulldogs. Teammate Davion William put up 9 points in the easy victory, and head coach Julius Williams was satisfied with his team’s success.

The ninth-grade team remains undefeated this season. They will continue to compete for a chance to win the Little Six championship this year. Their next game and opponent in the tournament have not been announced.
