Vicksburg home rekindled after morning fire

Vicksburg firefighters arrived on the scene in the 500 block of Speed Street just before 5:30 p.m.  A fire from earlier Monday morning had rekindled, threatening the home.

Light smoke was reported to be coming from a couple of locations in the home.

Engine 6, Engine 7, Fire Medic 40 and Ladder 14 have responded to the scene.

Firefighters are working to ensure another flare up won’t occur.
