Vicksburg Junior High Gators score against Germantown

The eighth grade Vicksburg Junior High basketball team went head-to-head with Germantown last night, with the Gators coming out on top.

The Gators came out strong in the first quarter, especially on defense by only allowing Germantown to score once, and ending the quarter with an 11-2 Vicksburg lead. The second quarter was even better offensively for the Gators, when they added 16 more points ending the half at 27-10.

Tyler Carter would come up with two big blocks and a huge dunk in the fourth quarter. Tyler Henderson led the Gators with 8 points as Vicksburg won 54-21 over Germantown.
