Vicksburg Main Street is prepping for Mardi Gras and looking for “krewes” to participate

Mardi Gras is right around the corner. The Downtown Vicksburg Main Street Program is getting ready for a come back after no Mardi Gras festivities were held in 2021.

This will be the 19th annual parade which will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. The event will start at Washington Street and Belmont Street and will travel North on Washington Street to Jackson Street.

Anyone interested in participating in this year’s parade is asked to contact the Vicksburg Main Street Program at 601-634-4527 or via email kimh@vicksburg.org.

Applications will be due no later than Feb. 10.
