Vicksburg man arrested for aggravated domestic violence

Vicksburg police officers arrested a man Monday for aggravated domestic violence.

At 12:46 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the Candlewood Suites, 1296 South Frontage Road. Based on evidence, they arrested James Barnette, 38, of Vicksburg, on one count of aggravated domestic violence.

Barnette appeared Monday before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court, where she bound him over to the Warren County grand jury on a $100,000 bond.
