Vicksburg man arrested for burglary and domestic violence

Vicksburg police officers arrested a man Monday on charges of burglary and aggravated domestic violence.

Brandon Johnson, 34, of Vicksburg, was arrested Dec. 14 in connection with an incident that occurred Saturday, Dec. 12. Johnson is accused of forcing his way into a residence on Elizabeth Circle and strangling his girlfriend after an argument.

He appeared Monday before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court. Carpenters set his bond at $100,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
