Vicksburg man arrested for felony DUI
Vicksburg police arrested a Vicksburg man for felony DUI Monday.
An officer stopped Michael Brown, 30, for speeding near the intersection of Washington and Belmont streets at 4:17 p.m. Monday. When the officer detected the odor of alcohol on his breath, he transported Brown to the police station where he was given a Breathalyzer test.
Based on the results of the test, Brown was charged with felony driving under the influence. Brown has two prior convictions for driving under the influence. He was also cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license.
Brown will appear in Vicksburg Municipal Court Wednesday, Nov. 25.
