Vicksburg man arrested for meth, firearm possession


A Vicksburg man was arrested on Monday after being found in possession of methamphetamine and a firearm during a traffic stop.
According to the Vicksburg Police Department, Sammie Parham, 56, of Vicksburg was arrested Monday after his vehicle was stopped for traffic violations. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a firearm.
Parham appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Parham’s bond was set at $50,000 by Judge Penny Lawson and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
