Vicksburg man arrested for possession of cocaine

Vicksburg police arrested John Wallace, Jr., 20, of Vicksburg, for possession of cocaine.

Wallace was arrested in the parking lot of the Fastway/Smokebreak, 1217 Cherry St., after someone called 911 to report drug activity.

Police found Wallace was in possession of approximately 2 grams of cocaine.

Wallace appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court Monday, Aug. 3. She gave him a $10,000 bond and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
