Vicksburg man arrested on cocaine and gun charges Friday

Vicksburg police officers arrested a man Friday following an investigation into illegal drug sales in the Kings community.
Alonzo Curtis, 39, was arrested at his home on Taylor Street in Vicksburg. Cocaine, marijuana, cash, and two firearms were confiscated as evidence at the scene.
Police charged Curtis with one count of sale of cocaine, one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Curtis appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court Friday. She set his bond at $35,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
