Vicksburg man arrested on drug charges

35-year-old Jeremy Austin was arrested on Tuesday after an undercover investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Just shortly after 9 a.m., Austin was arrested on the 100 block of St. Patrick Street and charged with the sale of a controlled substance involving the sale of methamphetamine and heroin. Investigator Jeff Merit oversaw the investigation.
Judge Randy Lewis set bail at $50,000 but Austin is already on probation so the Mississippi Department of Corrections placed a hold on him so he will remain in the Warren County Jail.
