Vicksburg man charged with kidnapping, burglary and assault

Vicksburg Police have charged Quintarius Jamal Brown, 31, with kidnapping, burglary and aggravated assault, domestic violence.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27, Police responded to a call of a disturbance at 806 Walnut St. The homeowner told officers that Brown had kicked in his door and abducted his female roommate at knife point.

The woman Brown abducted was his estranged wife, from whom he has been separated for several months.

After receiving a description of Brown’s vehicle, police arrested him after a brief chase.

The abducted woman was not physically injured.

Brown made his initial court appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Saturday, Nov. 30, where his bond was set at $250,000.
