Vicksburg man found in possession of cocaine after traffic stop, foot chase

A Vicksburg man was arrested and given after being found with cocaine during a traffic stop and foot chase on Friday.

Larry Johnson, 26, was stopped on Friday for a traffic violation on Clay Street. According to the Vicksburg Police Department, Johnson tried to flee the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended.

After being taken into custody, Johnson was found to be in possession of 5.1 grams of cocaine.

Johnson appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday and was given a $100,000 bond.
