Vicksburg man killed in a triple murder in Jackson over the weekend

A Vicksburg man, along with two others, were killed in a triple homicide in Jackson over the weekend.

Vicksburg resident, 22-year-old Elijah Bridges, was shot dead early Sunday morning. His body was found at the front of the club. Alicia Brown, 24, and Deanne Bell, 20, were also killed in the attack.

Conflicting statements say the shooting happened from outside the club, however the Jackson Police Department maintains the shooting occurred inside Club Rain, WLBT reports. A security officer, identified as ‘Mr. Sneed’, stated members of a fraternity opened fire from across the street.

Several bullet holes were discovered on the club’s outside walls, A total of six people were hit by bullets.

Jackson Police Department has issued a warrant for Jeremy Antoine Johnson in relation to the killings.
