Vicksburg Man Killed
Vicksburg Police Lieutenant Bill Jeffers said that the accident last night on Interstate 20 near Indiana Avenue claimed the life of an area man. The investigation shows the man was crossing the Interstate on foot in a Northerly direction towards the businesses along South Frontage when he was struck by vehicles on the Interstate. The man’s identity is being withheld pending appropriate notifications. Lt. Jeffers stated the accident remains under investigation and Chief Armstrong should have additional information later in the day.
