Vicksburg native Cocoa Fultz had a outstanding sophomore season for Grambling

Former Warren Central softball play Cocoa Fultz wrapped up her redshirt sophomor season with some impressive numbers.

Fultz had a batting average of .333 and led Grambling to a 13-18 record. She had a total of 27 hits to go along with 20 RBIs she recorded throughout the year.

One of Fultz’s best games happened last month in a series against Prairie View A&M where she had two home runs. She spent the season playing under Nakeya Hall where she has been a playmaker for the Lady Tigers since joining the team.

Now that her sophomore season is out he way, Fultz is just warming up her true skills and will have plenty of eyes on her for next couple of years as she continues to shine for Grambling while her hometown is rooting for her.
