Vicksburg native Da’Sha McGloster is now coaching basketball at Cleveland State CC
Vicksburg, Mississippi- Vicksburg native Da’Sha McGloster is now coaching basketball at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee. McGloster recently posted to social media that she is now a part of the Cougars’ program.
“It feels good and I’ve been wanting this for a long time now so I’m excited to be coaching on the next level,” McGloster said. “I’m hoping everything turns out great and I’m looking forward to bringing some Mississippi athletes out here to Tennessee.”
Before becoming an assistant coach at Cleveland State CC., McGloster spent one season at Madison High School in Tallulah, Louisiana.
McGloster is a 2018 graduate of Warren Central High where she played under Jackie Martin as the Lady Vikes finished with a 22-9 record in her senior year. She went on to sign with Northeast Mississippi Community College where she spent two years at the Forward position, averaging 7.3 points per game.
After her time at Northeast Mississippi CC., McGloster signed with Mississippi Valley State University. She started a total of 26 games during her time at MVSU and averaged 8 points per game in the 2020-2021 season.
McGloster will be coaching today at noon when the Cougars face Johnson University.
