Vicksburg native Larry Warner finds success in his first season at UAPB
Vicksburg native Larry Warner found great success in his first season coaching at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.
Warner, who is a 2005 WC graduate, just recently finished his first season as UAPB’s running backs coach where the team made it all the way to the SWAC Championship where they loss 40-33 against Alabama A&M.
With the help of Warner, the Golden Lions had 4-1 Spring 2021 season and they will soon be playing again this fall in hopes of continuing their excellent play.
Warner came to UAPB this season after spending the past three years coaching at the University of South Alabama. His leadership over the years have proven to be effective for many programs that he has been a part of the staff.
After spending many years shining on the gridiron, Warner still manages to keep football as a big part of his life.
