Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested two individuals early Sunday morning.

Police were called to a disturbance at the Waffle House at 4100 Pemberton Blvd. just before 3 a.m. on March 15.

Anthony Woodland, 27, and Jonathan Jackson, 32, were taken into custody. Both are Vicksburg residents.

Police say Woodland was in possession of approximately 48 tablets of Ecstasy and more than $1,200 in cash, and they arrested him on one count of trafficking of a controlled substance.

Jackson was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Both suspects had their initial court appearances in the Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday, March 16. Judge Angela Carpenter set Woodland’s bond at $60,000 and Jackson’s bond at $50,000. Both were bound over to the Warren County grand jury.
