Vicksburg PD: 3-year-old wounded playing with handgun

At about 5:37 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, Vicksburg Police officers responded to an address in the 4400 bock of Halls Ferry Road for a reported shooting.

A 3-year -old boy was playing with a handgun and it discharged, the bullet grazing his head.

Police say he was taken to Merit Health River Region where he was treated and released.
