Vicksburg PD incident report: auto theft and burglary, shots fired
The Vicksburg Police Department has reported the following incidents from Friday, March 20, through Sunday, March 22.
On Friday, at 2:52 a.m., officers responded to the area of Crawford Street near Washington Street in reference to an auto burglary. The victim stated that someone entered his 2014 Ford Fusion taking money and personal items from him and his wife.
On Sunday, March 22, at 3:32 p.m., officers responded to 3408 Pemberton Square Boulevard in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim stated that someone stole his 2000 GMC Sierra.
Officers responded to two incidents of shots fired. They found no evidence of shots fired in either incident.
·      On Friday at 11:12 p.m., officers responded to the area of Belmont and Cherry Street.
- On Sunday at 11:53 p.m., officers responded to the area of Azalea Lane and Drusilla Lane.
