Vicksburg PD responds to auto burglary and shots fired

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to the following calls on Wednesday, Jan. 15:

At 5:11 p.m., officers responded to an address in the 2000 block of Clay Street in reference to an auto burglary. The complainant stated someone stole his 9mm Glock handgun from his truck.

At 11:05 p.m., officers responded to the area of National and Second streets in reference to shots fired. Officers saw no signs of suspicious activity or shots fired.
