Vicksburg police are investigating two auto burglaries that occurred on Tuesday in Vicksburg.

On Tuesday, April 6, officers responded to an auto burglary shortly after noon at the Motel 6 on I-20 Frontage Road.

The victim stated that a generator was stolen from the bed of his Ford pickup.  The generator was reported to be a Predator 9000, which is valued at $1200.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to Sherman Avenue.

Reports are that a briefcase was stolen from a Nissan Titan. The victim stated that the briefcase contained an Apple iPad valued at $500.  The vehicle was unlocked.
