Vicksburg police arrest a man for September shooting

Vicksburg police arrested a man Saturday in connection with a Sept. 19 shooting.

Michael Parker, 36, of Vicksburg was taken into custody Saturday, Oct. 3, for a Sept. 19 shooting on Second North Street on a charge of aggravated assault.

The victim in that incident suffered a wound to his left side that was not life threatening.

Parker appeared before Judge Alan Derivaux Sunday, Oct. 4, where he was bound over to the Warren County grand jury on a $75,000 bond.
