Investigators with the Vicksburg Police Department’s Narcotics/NET Team arrested an Edwards, Mississippi, man Thursday on narcotics charges.

Keyaudre Fultz, 23, fled from officers Aug. 7 when they attempted to stop the vehicle he was driving on Washington Street. Fultz eventually jumped out of the car on Forrest Street and continued to flee on foot, leaving behind a felony amount of hydrocodone tablets in the vehicle.

Police issued a warrant for his arrest, and they took him into custody Thursday, Aug. 13, at the police department.

Fultz appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Friday, charged with one count of possession of controlled substance and felony eluding. Lawson set his bond at $215,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
