Vicksburg police arrest two on firearms charges

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department arrested two people on firearms charges Thursday.

Following a traffic stop near the intersection of Cain Ridge Road and Highway 61 South at 11:34 a.m. Thursday, Vicksburg police officers arrested Nichole Warnock, 48, and Ernesto Crespo, 29, for possession of a firearm by a felon.

Warnock and Crespo, both of Vicksburg, appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court before Judge Penny Lawson Friday. Lawson set bonds for each of them at $15,000 and bound them over to the Warren County grand jury.
