Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department arrested a Vicksburg woman Sunday on drug and gun charges as a result of her court testimony.

Tammy Crutchfield, 23, was taken into custody on two warrants just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at an address on Indiana Avenue. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a stolen firearm.

The warrants stem from her testimony in Warren County Circuit Court in June 2019, where she appeared as a trial witness and claimed possession of the narcotics and the firearm.

Crutchfield had her initial appearance before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court Sunday, Aug. 23. Carpenter bound her over to the Warren County grand jury on a $50,000 bond.
