The Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) is inviting residents to participate in its upcoming 2024 Town Hall Meeting. The meeting will take place Tuesday, April 16 at the Robert M. Walker Building, at 1415 Walnut Street, in the Board Room, commencing at 5:30 p.m.

Designed to facilitate open dialogue and collaboration between community members and local government, the Town Hall Meeting serves as a platform for discussing pressing community concerns. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with the Chief of Police, commanding officers from VPD, and other city officials in attendance.

At the heart of the meeting is the shared goal of strengthening the partnership between law enforcement and the community. Participants are encouraged to bring forward their questions, suggestions, and concerns, as active engagement is key to building a safer and more cohesive community.

For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will be streamed live on the VTV – Vicksburg, MS Facebook page and available on cable channels, ensuring accessibility to a wider audience.

This Town Hall Meeting represents a vital opportunity for residents to contribute to the ongoing dialogue and become active participants in shaping the future of their community.
