Vicksburg Police incident report: theft, burglary, auto burglary

The Vicksburg Police Department has reported the following incidents for Monday, March 30.

Officers responded to BG Junior, 4110 Clay St., in reference to a theft (grand larceny) at 7:37 a.m. The complainant stated when she arrived to work the Air King Air Pump worth $1,000 was missing from the front of the store.

At 9:44 a.m., officers responded to Vicksburg High School, 3701 Drummond St., in reference to a burglary. The complainant reported someone went into one of the trailer storage units and stole $30,000 in copper and brass fittings.

Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Skyway Lane in reference to an auto burglary at 4:01 p.m. The victim stated that a Coach purse valued at $700 was taken from the back seat of a Mercedes ML350. The vehicle was unsecured.
