Vicksburg police investigate cases of auto theft

On Tuesday, Vicksburg police responded to two separate cases involving auto theft.

Just before 1 p.m., officers responded to 2950 South Frontage road, George Carr Motors.

A complaint was filed which stated the night prior, a 2020 GMC Yukon was stolen from the parking lot.

Just before 8 p.m., another auto theft was reported in regards to a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle.

A report was taken at the police station concerning the theft. It was reported the theft occurred in the 4400 block of Halls Ferry Road the previous night.
