Vicksburg police investigating two reported burglaries

Vicksburg Police Department is investigating two reported burglaries within the city.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1:47 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Grange Hall Road for a burglary. The resident reported someone entered the house and stole several shotguns and rifles, a laptop computer and approximately $400.00 dollars in coins.

On Tuesday, Sep. 13, at 3:03 a.m., officers were dispatched to a business alarm at the Dollar General store located at 2203 Clay Street. There the officers discovered someone had cut a hole in the wall at the rear of the building.
