Vicksburg Police make three felony arrests and respond to an auto theft Tuesday

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department made three felony arrests on Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29.
On Tuesday, officers arrested Eric Lamont Carson, 20, and Erick Weddington, 18, both of Vicksburg, after responding to a shots-fired call on Military Avenue. They recovered a .40 caliber Ruger handgun that had been reported stolen to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
Carson and Weddington were each charged with possession of a stolen firearm. They appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Tuesday, where she set bonds for each man at $2,500 and bound them over to the Warren County grand jury.
Vicksburg Police officers arrested a man for felony domestic violence on Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance in the early morning hours of April 29 and arrested Patrick Ross-Hunter, 30, of Vicksburg.
Ross-Hunter appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court before Judge Penny Lawson who set his bond at $75,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
Officers also responded to an auto theft on Tuesday, April 28. At 10:13 p.m., police officers got a call from the 2600 block of Hannah Avenue. The victim said that a 2000 Honda Civic had been stolen. The keys had been left in the vehicle.
